Some people base their wedding receptions on a particular theme or love of a particular band; for example, the Beatles or U2. NOTTURNO ENTERTAINMENT cannot get those bands for your wedding reception, however we can get the next best thing: a tribute band.
Tribute bands vary in the way they pay tribute to a particular performer. Some....:
- Impersonate the look, and voice of the performer or group (The BackBeats and Danny D and The Vagabonds)
- Imitate either one or the other (Zooropa)
- Simply pay homage to the songs (Lookin' Back)
Here are some of the tribute bands that are available for your wedding:

The BackBeats are the most sought after Beatles Tribute Show in Michigan. Using authentic instruments and costumes, The BackBeats take their audiences on a Magical Mystery Tour of yesteryear, when the world was first introduced to the four names of John, Paul, George and Ringo. The BackBeats is proud to be the only Michigan-based Beatle show to have had sponsorship by both of the major classic rock Detroit radio stations (104.3 and 94.7) and also by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The BackBeats is also proud to be the only Michigan-based Beatles show whose members have traveled throughout the USA, Canada, and abroad; performing throughout Great Britain and Europe, including shows at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles. With the current over saturation of Beatle bands featuring bad wigs and ill-fitting black suits, The BackBeats continues to deliver the most entertaining and authentic Beatle show around.

Danny D and The Vagabonds present tribute to Rod Stewart. Not only does Danny look like Rod Stewart, he sounds just like him. His show has received rave reviews all over the metro area. Performing in private shows, nightclubs and even in the Michigan State Fair, this show is definitely qualified for Las Vegas. Danny got the chance to perform with the man he tributes this past year as Rod Stewart, himself, called Danny up on stage with him to close out the show together!! Danny D has opened for some very big name artists such as: Mitch Ryder, David Lee Roth, Bad Company, The Tubes, Air Supply, and for The Romantics (at the 2007 Summerfest in St. Clair). Further, for the past five years Danny D has made it a Thanksgiving tradition opening for Detroit’s own Uncle Kracker at the Emerald Theatre.

Lookin’ Back pays homage to Southeast Michigan’s favorite rock-n-roll son, Bob Seger, in the form of a tribute band. Lookin' Back does not try to impersonate Seger or the Silver Bullet Band. The band's feeling is, quite simply, "There’s only one Bob Seger." In the process of focusing on the songs rather than the appearance, these Southeast Michigan musicians have formed a rather gripping Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band tribute that is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the music by breathing new life into some classic rock-n-roll favorites. Lookin’ Back has performed at venues throughout Michigan and Canada. The band has also performed on two occasions with Seger/Silver Bullet sax man, Alto Reed, who said “These guys are smokin!”
